Wesport cottages Joplin great stay

Adorable cottage very private front and back door led me right to my car. Bed was comfortable, shower was hot and great water pressure- 2 cup coffee pot with coffe mugs, mini frid and freezer, microwave! Loved it I felt like I had my own apt. You hear the train but that didn’t bother me. I will be staying here again

Cozy and comfortable

Check-in was super easy, staff was very helpful. I booked this as an overnight stay only traveling from Michigan to Oklahoma. Honestly, I wish my final destination wasn’t three hours away. I would totally stay here the entire trip. I travel a lot and always try to book mom and Pop places. This place is by far one of the most comfortably cozy, inviting ,well decorated, “homey” feeling places I’ve ever booked. I slept like a rock. Kuddos to the decorating genius of unit #11 Would recommend this a 10/10 and stay again.

Hubby and I are starting to seek out iconic places to stay, namely hotels and cabins on Route 66. This one fit the bill for sure! I wish I could have seen it when it was originally built, or at least a picture of the interiors. The unit we stayed in is perfect for a couple or single traveler.

We received no email or contact regarding checking in. When we showed up, no one was there. The pictures never show that these tiny cabins are located directly on a busy road in a commercial area. Not the ideal place for a romantic get-away. However, a step above the average motel, probably.

The floors are terribly cold in freezing weather so bring slippers! Loved how cute the cottage was and it smelled so delightful when we stayed. Glad the heat worked well. Surprisingly quiet for being right off the highway. Good choice for the price!
