Pleasant 3D2N stay in central JB
Hotel location was convenient and accessible - so close to CIQ, malls and eating places. Decor looks relatively new and modern. The only thing about the hotel I didn’t like was the lifts from the ground floor do not lead to the guest rooms. You will need to transfer to another set of lifts from the lobby on the 8th floor. This I feel wasn’t convenient if you are traveling with young kids and have to carry lots of kids essentials or traveling with elderly parents The ground floor also do not have a porter to help with loading/unloading the guests’ luggages/ shopping bags from ride hailing cars/ taxis. There wasn’t a sign to indicate upon arrival that the lobby was on 8th floor, thankfully a kind guest informed me of the location. My hunble suggestion - the hotel should have a Conceirge desk to help with directions and infos and luggage storing room at the ground floor., so guests could continue shopping and dining in the vicinity upon checkout and not having to go up again to the the 8th floor to collect their luggages. I was lucky to have a kind staff (I think his name is Shafiq) assist me with my 4 large shopping bags and luggages from the 8th floor to the ground floor. Overall a pleasant stay.

Fairly new hotel and my second time staying. Love the location which is fully sheltered from the custom to the hotel via the link bridge and from Komtar shopping mall. Lots of good food dining options from both Komtar and sheltered link way to city square. Walkable distance to famous food like Jin Long curry fish, Hiap Joo Banana Cake, Ya Wang and Tapu Egg tarts and many more. Definitely my to go place if I wanna stay near the customs. :)

Other than it’s the closest to the CIQ, I find that the toilet conditions can be improved. The mirror is a little dirty with toothpaste stains and the blind is not working. But I just stayed for 2 nights so it’s bearable.

Pleasant Short Stay
Lovely one-night stay. Comfortable bed. Delicious food @in-room dining. Reception staff efficient & courteous. Breakfast not too bad although my omelette order did not arrive (despite having what I thought is a great system of order which reduces queue & time) - gave up after 30 minutes.

Everything ok except 2 issues: only 1 available lift from ground floor to the lobby and its always crowded. The other lifts out of irder. The other issue : the arrival swamp of wasps at the swimming pool that make it unsafe.
