We were there to help move our daughter to NYC for her internship and I couldn't have found a better place to stay! The nearest subway station was a 10 min walk from the hotel and through a mall. Being from out of town and first time in Jersey City/NYC we felt comfortable and safe. Love the free parking and when we drove into city, the Holland tunnel was readily accessible and easy to drive into Manhattan or anywhere in NYC. The hotel is located literally at the beginning of the tunnel. Breakfast was decent and the staff was ALWAYS polite and accomodating. Best staff ever and it didn't matter if it was the evening or morning shifts, everyone was courteous. Even the cleaning ladies were very nice! The hotel is dated but in good condition and the cleanliness was impeccable! As for the beds, they were very comfortable. I slept great and my wife who has back problems had no complaints whatsoever. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again!

This was in the perfect location for us and worked well. One note - (It may be on the hotel's description but I didn't check) just an fyi that there is no elevator. If was fine for us but could be an issue for others

The staff is awesome. The breakfast spread is great for grab and go and they kept it out longer than breakfast hours. They also have a patio to sit and eat. We loved the free parking and that it was close to the tunnel and mall. The beds were a bit uncomfortable but overall it was a good hotel.

This is a terrific hotel in a good location with easy access to the PATH train station into NYC. I alway appreciate the comfort of the room, the friendliness of the staff, and price is definitely right!

Thank You, Holland Hotel!

The Holland Hotel really is the little gem I was hoping it would be! This was our first time visiting NYC and I was looking for a budget-friendly hotel in a good location. Happy to say that the Holland Hotel lived up to its great reviews! All the staff were very nice, but the one that stood out for us was Josh at the front desk. He was very kind and patient and helped us with directions on how to use the PATH train into the city. The hotel isn't fancy, but it's cute, clean, quiet and safe. We hope to be back in the near future as we had an amazing trip to NYC and fell in love with the city and also Jersey City has its own interesting vibe, restaurants, nightlife and shops. I had a wonderful and memorable birthday trip!

Loved the breakfast pancakes, bacon, and coffee was included in the stay. Walls were thin because I could hear the TV in the next room. Overall, I would stay here again. Loved the character of the main building.
