The hotel is a bit older but they’ve done some renovations to freshen it up a bit. Great location if you’re splitting time between NYC and Jersey. The staff was very kind and helpful. Especially Steven at front desk. The bar staff was also very nice and accommodating. Room was clean and bed comfortable. The shower is aging a bit, but does the job. The comedy club night was also hilarious in case it coincides with your stay. I recommend this hotel based on their kind staff, location, price and nice bar. If you’re extra finicky then maybe not.

Over all stay was great. No pool or hot tub, food was great. Service great. Clean. Bar and restaurant doesn’t open until 5pm. Wish it opened sooner for quests and had microwave in suite.

Stayed here for the weekend with my kids. Staff very friendly. Room nice, clean, and spacious aside from a few minor stains on the blanket everything else was clean. Hotel has a restaurant with a bar on the first floor. I didn’t try the food but the bar was packed every night with patrons. Decor of the hotel is very nice as well.

Overnight getaway

For the most part everything was great with the exception of the cable not working. Also, in the morning housekeeping knocked on the door at 8:30 am when checkout is at 11am. While they were cleaning the other rooms you could hear the doors being slammed shut which vibrated through the headboard. Even with these few issues I would stay again.
