Convenient location but bad service

The hotel is in a very good location, it is clean, quiet and convenient. Lots of things were missing in our room : there was no hair dryer and no conditioner, only one small shampoo and a small soap. There was no bedspread and the comforter is really old and super thin. The closet door is broken, the room’s phone is not working. Only one elevator was working and busy all the time. The receptionist did not mention that breakfast was available.

The only thing good about the property is the staff the property is ran down and not as advertised as I went to the room elevator was broken, inside the room windows was cracked, hole in the ceiling, bathroom sink broken and so much more when I noticed we turned around and checked back out. The owner should be ashamed to rent this property not even suitable for a weekend stay DO BETTER

The toilet in our room didn’t work and they did not fix it. We had no access to our toilet our entire stay the key cards would stop working every time we left the room. The front desk was never staffed. Many guests were complaining about no one being at the front desk. Elevator was broken and there were so many people there took forever to get anywhere.

I would not recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable stay. The bathroom was very shabby, as it was very old, so our toilet broke and flooded. It took a very long time to get fixed by management and no one bothered to clean it afterwards as well. We had to walk two floors every time we needed to use the bathroom, as the minimum elevator waiting time was 10-15mins because there was only functioning elevator. Also the room was overall dirty and old, with weird smells. Lastly the breakfast was probably a 2/10. The morning staff was helpful but the night staff was not assisting as they expected us to used the dirty bathroom

The bedroom was a good size. The hotel itself is old and outdated. One elevator didnt work and the lines for the other ones were horrible. To close to the highway and it was very noisy.

Nightmare

No, thank you. The property is outdated, the furnishings are worn, and repairs are desperately overdue. One of the elevators was out of service since the day before—apparently, it couldn’t handle five people (seriously?). The other elevator took a full five minutes to arrive—long enough to question all of our life choices. Check-in was another adventure. We stood in the lobby for ten minutes waiting, only to learn the night manager/front desk agent/security guard (yes, all one person) had to leave to help someone open their door. Bless his multitasking heart, but one person running the entire operation? This place is in desperate need of a renovation —or a shutdown. And the real kicker? We were told they were at full capacity. Full of what, exactly, is still unclear.

All of the staff from the front desk to the dining room were very pleasant and helpful. Overall the room was clean and spacious so we had a nice stay. The only downside was how outdated the building was in general (a lot of chipped paint and only one working elevator) and the parking was not great.

Good for visiting NY city as bus stop is directly outside the hotel. Take bus 320 to Port Authority bus terminal. 20 min journey. Easy if visiting. Good hotel. Ok breakfast. Rooms ok if not spending too much time in them.
