The hotel in general was ok. The receptionist D not very friendly. The room was ok but smelled weird. In the middle of the night some tenant was screaming and banging on another room door . The breakfast was good and the staff there very attentive and efficient.

Upon entering the property, the staff greeting was very nice, lobby was clean which had me expecting a great experience for my one night. As I entered the room, I could tell it wasn’t the cleanest, but I travel with cleaning supplies for these type of stays. The tub had a ring in it, the carpet needed to be vacuumed and it was candy wrapper and several wristbands from The American Dream mall on the bed rails… once mentioned to the staff, I wasn’t offered another room, just that it would be noted and a manager would be in contact with me. It was a Sunday evening and I was only staying for no more than 12 hours, so I cleaned what I could and stayed in the room. I’m not someone who stays in hotels often, I prefer Air BnB, but like I said it was only for 12 hours.. Nice place, just need to make sure to have someone go behind the cleaning staff to make sure they’re really cleaning because in my opinion they’re just straightening up for the eye… I lift mattresses and rub tubs to make sure it’s clean, I should see candy wrappers in eye sight and dirt on the carpet.

It wasn't bad but wasn't the best stay I've had at a La Quinta. The outside and the lobby of the hotel are updated and clean and nice but the room just felt stale, outdated, and like it needed some love. It wasn't dirty per se...but it didn't feel overwhelmingly clean like other mid-tier hotels I've stayed at. It was extremely loud also between the thin doors and overhearing everything in the halls, the interstate highway directly next to the hotel, and the airport (this is understandable though but something to consider if you are a light sleeper). The breakfast was average, not bad but nothing to rave about. Wondered where the breakfast potatoes were though. I probably won't be back. For the price, it really was subpar.
