Great value for the price!

Very clean hotel for the most part. Friendly staff. Easy check-in. Good breakfast. Decent location (just a lot of highway construction outside, but doesn't effect the noise level in the hotel). The only complaints I would have are that the exercise room wasn't stocked with supplies and seemed very dirty and sticky. The pool heater seems it hasn't been in service for quite a long time which resulted in the pool area also not being stocked and not clean and inviting. Other than that, we had a good stay. Great proximity to New Bern downtown. Definitely a great value for the price!

We booked through Expedia, th3 description and pictures and price was perfect. We stay for not even 2 hour's before checking out and getting a differwnt hotel. The room was big but the carpet was rough, stained up and it smelled horrible. The walls were dirty and the paint was chipping off. Hair all over the floor in the bathroom too. In the pictures it shows a hot tub and pool. The hot tub is no longer there and the pool was only 56°because the heater broke. This is not stated online through Expedia at all. Overall horrible

Room and accommodations were about average. Nothing to brag about or complain about. The lady who checked me in was very friendly and made some good recommendations for local restaurants. I would stay here again if in the area.

The room was nice. The area around the hotel looks like a war zone because of construction. Not their fault, I realize, but they are responsible for the following. No hot tub even though it’s shown on website. Staff said, “those are old photos”. Took about 10 minutes to get even warm water in shower. Complimentary breakfast was a bust. We were there at 9 (ends at 10), no food, no coffee. 1 person in the kitchen. Poor woman was working so hard. But again, nice room, but we won’t be back.
