Staff did great under pressure
We were hurricane evacuees, so we very much appreciated the chance at a basic room with a little refrigerator and microwave. This is an inexpensive hotel, so it is exactly fine for what you pay for it. We didn’t expect fancy. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. They did really well in a crisis situation, going from a regular day to a sold-out time full of stressed-out guests.

The hotel manager and service were honest and helpful. Unfortunately, the room we were assigned to had a heavy musty smell that probably came from the AC and made it difficult to breathe. When we brought this up, the manager did what he can to bring us an air scrubber for an hour and neutralizer, we really appreciated it. However, the smell didn’t go away until the power went out later and the AC stopped working. We were grateful for the place to ride out the hurricane.
