very good for this price point in Jackson hole. the staff are very friendly and accommodating and the rooms are clean and comfortable. the communal area downstairs is also really cool. the only downside is you can hear people walking around in the room above you and talking nextdoor.

It is great and clean sheets. One possibility is to replace the floor carpet which is quite dusty and damp. Stayed there for 2 nights.

The property has recently been renovated and is very clean. Parking is free in the summer. The common area in the basement is a lot of fun. My family enjoyed the pool table and I enjoyed the free coffee!

super helpful staff, excellent price for the room size and location. just bear in mind that travelling to grand teton from teton village will still have you driving through jackson, so it's about a 40 minute trip to get to the national park. teton village is small and peaceful and have busses to jackson, but we went during the off season so most shops were closed

Stayed during off season. Restaurants would say they were open, you go all the way in and there’s nobody in sight. Must have been letting work people in??? The hostel was a creepy old gross looking place but the shower was clean. Didn’t have a TV pretty basic not worth it move on.

Vibes are excellent. WiFi in our room was outstanding. Front desk humans were friendly and helpful. Community rooms were convenient and cozy. They lent us a kettle. Lionel is a sleepy eepy boy. 5 stars.

What Jackson Hole used to be.

The Hostel is the only affordable place to stay in Teton Village. Jackson Hole has shifted its focus from the ski experience to squeezing every penny out of visitors. The Hostel is the last hold out to what Jackson Hole was meant to be. No frills, just awesome.

Almost didn’t book The Hostel because I thought it was a hostel, turns out it isn’t anymore (not for ~20yrs). It was at one time, and started off as an affordable spot for families in the 60’s at the same time the tram and mangey moose were built (for only $10 a night). Not that there is anything wrong with hostels, but I was with my teenage son and wanted something quiet, clean and private for our couple of days at Jackson. Turns out The Hostel is perhaps the most perfect spot at Jackson with just the necessities you need to maximize your experience at the resort with only a couple minute walk to the Tram! Not only is it affordable, but it’s quiet, convenient, clean, comfortable and has an awesome vibe that makes it the ideal spot for those who would gladly take “no frills” accommodations for the most perfect location in the Village. The rooms have been updated with an industrial and minimalist design that punches above its pay grade for the village. While it would have been nice to have a hot tub, I’d gladly take the Ski tuning room, game room, cost savings and awesome vibe in exchange. I’ll definitely be back!
