Second year coming to stay at the hatchet. Last year was great, good food friendly service, staff went out of their way. This year we made the trip again just to stay again. We had NO issues with the room, its a basic loog cabin room, wifi and 2 beds, bathroom with shower only, not sure why they charge 300 a night though. The issues were at the Wetstone restaurant on the property. Bad service, the food was so so and the manager was more worried about socializing with friends that came in than the other dinners.

Excellent stay. Easy check in and check out. Dining - food quality was excellent. Great location for access to the South Entrance of Yellowstone National Park. Great photo ops.

Everything was very clean. Hot shower, good water pressure. Good dinner and breakfast, friendly servers. Food was a little pricey but is to be expected as it’s far from town. Would absolutely go back again.

I would love a fridge in the rooms. They have ice but ask you don't fill coolers. Otherwise, the rooms are comfy and the location is beautiful.

Stayed in room above the store. Quiet and never bothered by any activity down below. All was clean and well taken care of. Wish there was a mirror in your room so you didn’t have to wait for single mirror in bathroom. Room could benefit from more electrical outlets. Shower had very hot water. Felt great. Food at restaurant was great!! Staff great too
