Overall this was a good cabin to stay in with family. I can’t stress this enough- it is a bare bones almost rustic experience. If you go into it without high expectations you will probably enjoy the simplicity, history and how close it is to Jackson Lake. Our cabin didn’t have windows we could see out of without standing on tip toes, there is nowhere to sit outside the cabins, there absolutely will be bugs and the shower is tiny. If you feel like you can handle that while paying a large price, you will enjoy.

I can't say enough about our experience at Colter Bay Village! What is better than staying in a log cabin, inside the Grand Teton National Park for your 20 year anniversary!? Well, maybe a mini fridge in the cabin... that would have made the stay better, but we bought a tiny little cooler, used the free ice provided to fill it and were set. Trails nearby, wildlife around, convenience store, restaurants, laundry and a marina are all within walking distance. Pricey, but you're inside a national park, so it's expected. Shower was super tiny! Clean, comfy beds. Rented kayaks at the marina and had a wonderful experience! Colter Bay is a perfect location to get to everywhere in the park. A lot of the trails we attempted forced us to turn back due to quite a bit of snow in the higher elevations so that was a bummer. The huckleberry milkshake at the restaurant in the village is soooo delicious though!! We saw thousands of elk, thousands of bison, pringhorn, deer, river otters, coyotes, bald eagle, 2 cinnamon black bears, and 2 MOOSE (my favorite!)! We are already planning to come back and bring our kids bevause this place is like a little slice of heaven... where bears may try to eat you!! Just rent your bear spray; know what to do if you encounter a bear, moose, bison, elk, etc; and be alert on the trails, on the roads, and pretty much everywhere. I cannot wait to come back!!

The place was wonderful! The cabins are very unique and nice. I was skeptical of the heater but it worked remarkably well! Had to shut it off during the night! There are signs talking about bats and mice being commonly found in the area and to alert staff if found in the cabin. While we had NO ISSUES with any wildlife and the place was exceptionally clean, seeing the signs kinda freaked us out. Every little sound you heard during the night put us on edge and worried about little critters. Overall, great location, very clean, and a great experience!

Great location for Grand Teton, not a great value for our money. The cabin was renovated but very cold even with the heater - the floor was ice-cold and bare, would be nice if they had carpets. Kinda overpriced for what they are offering. No wifi in the cabins - zero T-Mobile coverage, some Verizon. The dining options are questionable - went to the restaurant there, the food was expensive and barely mediocre. Maybe because it’s the beginning of the season?

A wonderful cabin with user-friendly amenities. It’s close to the lake, with a variety of dining options nearby at reasonable prices—an excellent place to stay. It would be even better if in-room Wi-Fi could be provided in the future.

It was great to be able to stay within the national park, and our kids enjoyed the cabin experience. It was spacious enough for a family of 5 and clean.

Everything looked great until we started hearing animal noises inside the room. They were nestled inside the wall panel in the cabin. We heard the noise all night long and we're concerned they might come out into the room. They need to do a better job of pest control if they want to charge $450 per night.

We expected a higher level experience. The cabin was rustic, rough, no wi-fi or TV, no view, and was not as presented in the photo in promotional material.

I would stay again. It is in the middle of the national park in the nature. I loved it about this place. If you do not prefer being in the middle of nature surrounded by wildlife it is not the right stay. We loved burgers at the restaurant. Convenient. Shower cleanliness was my only complaint.
