The elevator to the beach did not work, which was a major hassle when coming back to my room from the beach. Travelers should know that the only way to go up to their room from the beach is when the beach elevator doesn’t work, is 10 floors of stairs up the hill, to the internal elevator for the rooms. The view was beautiful though, the service was excellent, and the room very clean although the wear and tear on the decorative pillow with missing embroidery made it feel dated. Also, I am guessing that the cleaning personnel don’t really think about reorganizing the furniture in a thoughtful manner after they clean. The chairs and table were just pushed together against the wall, the same was true with the chairs in the balcony. This is not a big deal, just something that I think makes the room feel more dated. Otherwise, it was very clean and the structure and furniture themselves were not too outdated. As mentioned, the elevator that takes people down to the beach was not working. That was fine when going down, but heading up the equivalent to 10 floors of stairs was not fun, and I am in pretty good shape.

We where very embarrassed to go to pool and have few drinks and have to rely on someone else to pay for us because we didnt have our credit card with us.

The staff is absolutley wonderful, all rooms face the water, easily accessable beach and pool areas, they try so hard here to make you feel at home. A 1 Rated, although the hotel itself is getting old the upkeep is really nice.
