The location of this hotel can't be beat. Its close walking distance to some of the most prominent attractions as well as to the tram. The view from the terrace restaurant is incredible. However the rooms are pretty average. Our room constantly had a smell (may be due to being closed and heat on). The temperature can only be regulated by opening the windows as the heat is constantly on. I would rate this as a 3-star hotel par with a hampton inn in the US.

Great spot for first-timers
This was our first visit to Istanbul, and this put us close to all of the spots we wanted to see, either on foot or via a short trolley trip. (There are two nearby stations.) Room was small but comfortable and clean. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Excellent location. Good property but the room was quite simple. Rooftop restaurant has amazing views on 3 sides. We only had breakfast there and that was OK. Helpful and friendly staff.

We booked this property 2 month back with full payment. But when we arrived the front desk told the property is overbooked and move to third class hotel. So if you are lucky go ahead. Another problem in the property only 1 lift is working out of 2 lifts. Other the above 2 problems the property is excellent. Very near to all the attraction of Istanbul. The breakfast is excellent. Beautiful view from 6th floor. The staff are very good.

Excellent place. Special thanks to Engin Dagcı, he is outstanding person, arranged my cab from airport, even when I was not in Istanbul, cruise and tour to Bursa. We stayed here with kids. Location is perfect, one can easily walk to the blue and hagia Sophia mosque. In fact the grand bazaar is also 5-9min away. Hotel staff was very helpful and accommodating with late checkout and also helping us with booking cabs. The restaurant here has an amazing 360 degree view of Istanbul and nearby mosque. This was definitely a nice perk. Would recommend this place if you are short on time or looking to stay in the heart of old town. I would return to this hotel and recommend

We recently stayed at the Sultanhan Hotel in Istanbul as a family of four, including two younger children, and had a wonderful experience. The location is truly unbeatable — Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, the Basilica Cistern, and Topkapi Palace are all within easy walking distance.
