A perfect gem of a small hotel

Check in was really easy, the staff were very welcoming, kind and helpful. The room was really lovely - big, clean and well stocked with everything you might need. The big bed was amazingly comfy so we slept really well and we appreciated the comfortable couch too. Linens were changed daily if required. The breakfast was fresh, very tasty and prepared with care. Although the hotel is on a busy street it's situated really close to parks and squares and the area felt very safe. The Blue Mosque and Haga Sophia are only 2 streets away. We really enjoyed our stay at Royan Suites and would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone. There is no lift but I believe there's a ground floor room available. Thanks for looking after us and making our stay in Istanbul so welcoming and comfortable.

The room was comfortable and clean, and the location is excellent in the heart of old town Istanbul, very close to the principal attractions. There are pet cats on the premises, very cute but also good to be aware of if you’re allergic. The free breakfast is wonderful and enormous. The only real downside was that despite being a VIP Access hotel, the staff didn’t seem to know anything about the Expedia program and I received none of the Platinum benefits, no room upgrade or anything else for that matter

Perfect place near the Blue Mosque

This is a fantastic hotel located just a short walk from the Blue Mosque. The room was spacious, clean and modern. The breakfast was spectacular! There are many great restaurants located on the street the hotel is on. Gem, one of the managers, and Aisha, another worker there, are good people who will be sure to take care of you.

Great little hotel 5 minutes walk from Blue Mosque . Lovely hosts - very helpful with advice and recommendations. Good comfortable beds. Good breakfast - will definitely stay again when back in Istanbul

Book this hotel.

The staff was amazing. Kind, thoughtful, and ultimately made you feel like you were home away from home. They routinely went above and beyond, helping us plan excursions and book events, and even with best times to visit the sights (we always beat the crowds). Breakfast was fresh and so much more than just the continental fare you get from most other hotels. The location is great, you can walk to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, and the Basillica Cistern easily, and you can find food just steps out of the front door. Can't recommend this hotel enough, this staff is the best, you will not be disappointed.
