I stayed twice at this hotel . Bathroom was clean , the hotel is ok . The rugs were torn and dirty in the rooms and on the second stay I was given one of the only 3 upgraded rooms . The rug had a bigger tear this time and walls were with dust to the point of being able to write on it . Very disappointed. However the staff was fantastic and very accommodating. Breakfast buffet was maybe a 6 of 10 . I have pictures if anyone cares to see them .

Very nice and helpful staff. Breakfast grilled bread with fillings were great. Rest of breakfast was mediocre. Bed was hard. Room was average and dated. Short walk to the blue mosque and tram station. Roof top had a nice view and comfy couches.

Exceptional hotel with outstanding service. We stayed for 3 nights. Great room, clean with very comfortable bed. The location can’t be better. Walkable to Haga Sophia, Blue Mosque, Arasta Bazaar and Grand Bazaar among others. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect location in the historic area within walking distance to the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia& the Topkekia Palace. The staff was extremely helpful and all around friendly. They offered great suggestions for dinner. The room was clean and surprisingly spacious! Breakfast offered a wide variety for all. I highly recommend Hotel Amira.

The coffee machine in the restaurant was the best part of the hotel. Next the staff. Everybody was very friendly, nice and helpful. Location is great. Walking distance to major sightseeing places and if not close to the Tram station so it was very easy to move around from the hotel. The only thing is the hotel is just too outdated but typical for Sultanahmet area.

The Amira hotel is in a great location if you are looking to visit the main landmarks in Istanbul. The room was decent and the staff were amazing. I would definitely recommend staying in this hotel.

The staff were helpful and made sure they greeted us everytime. The check in and check out process was very quick and rooms were ready on our arrival. Rooms were cleaned everyday. The hotel is conveniently located about 5 mins away from the blue mosque and about 15mins from the grand bazaar. There are many restaurants around serving turkish and continental food.

Great location and staff very attentive

Nice small hotel. Friendly, helpful staff and comfortable room. Buffet breakfast was delicious, with freshly made Turkish wraps to order. Excellent location with lots of local restaurants around and only 5 mins walk to Blue Mosque. Area was quiet and safe too at night.

Within 10 minutes walk to main attractions. The Basilica Cistern, Hagia Sofia, Hippodrome Square and The Blue Mosque. T1 tram to get to the Galata area has a station by these attractions. Great room with a view of the Bosphorus, many options for breakfast and very helpful friendly staff. We had a fabulous experience. Thank you Hotel Amira for making our Istanbul stay a very pleasant experience.
