This is my second stay at this hotel and I cannot imagine staying anywhere else in Istanbul, as the value for money that you get in GLK is quite remarkable. It's right in the city touristy centre and places like Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque are withon 5 mins walk through streets lined with shops and restaurants. The rooms are very cosy, with great beds and reasonably ok soundproofing - although you still hear other people doors and occasional convos. Buffet breakfast is great, but turkish coffee costs extra. We quite enjoyed the hamam, to the point that we didn't get to use much of the jacuzzi in the room. What made this property stand out for me was the kindness and helpfulness of their staff: they are always there for you, they speak various languages (both English and Russian worked a treat for me) and they are always there to help with any questions, be that parking or bookings. I will definitely stay again when exploring Istanbul.

The staff is amazing! They were the best part pf the hotel. Friendly, safe, supportive and attentive. The location is a great area to walk all around to some good food, bazar, Mosque and short drive from Dolmabache and Galat Tower. Recommend staying with them their service is truly superb

Great staff, but dated rooms.

The best part of this hotel was the staff. I cant say enough. Everyone was absolutely perfect. Went above and beyond. Unfortunately. The hotel in my opinion was a little dated. It could have been cleaned a little bit better.

We had a wonderful time during our stay at GLK. Staff were super attentive and helpful. Restaurants, Blue Mosque, Aya Sofya, Arasta Bazaar, and Grand Bazaar are all walking distance between 5-15 minutes. Two issues. First, there were no laundry facilities to do laundry before leaving for home. The charge for laundry service is per clothing item, which was pricey. Second, there was a restaurant or two that played loud music every night until 2:00-4:00 am. Other than these two issues, i recommend the hotel.

Staff was really friendly and gentle, gym was terrible, showers are slippery. Locstion was excelent but a little noisy, last night couldn't sleep. But all atraction were close for walk and many restaurants and shps around. Area is expensive, i suggest look carefully before choose a resataurant, and make shopping in Izmir or Capadoccia if you are traveling there too.

It was a beautiful stay and smooth check in and check out! Just few minutes walk to main locations. Easy access to transportation if needed. And the Manager Poyraz was extremely helpful and gave this sweet farewell gift! Would highly recommend it!

What a way to finish off my travels. I arrived in Istanbul close to midnight and after an eventful car ride, I arrived at the hotel around 1.30am The reception were really nice and helped my get settled in. I was upgraded and OMG, the room was magnificent. I entered the room (bedroom, separate lounge, bathroom and balcony) The bathroom has an open shower and bathtub with spa jets. The balcony opened to the street below with views of the city around me. I got to bed at 2am and enjoyed the very comfortable bed. Breakfast was available each day and was very satisfying. The gym is good and the spa is very relaxing (but you need to give them 30min notice to get it prepared) The hotel is within walking distance of several mosques and the grand bazaar Staff are next level friendly I recommend this hotel for any one who want to relax and want to do self walking of Istanbul One last thing, I might consider using the hotel transfer service to guarantee fast and efficient connections but the price will need to come down

Hero staff!

Fantastic place. 4 minute walk to Hagia Sophia. Close to everything! Including good food and all the major sites. We were surprised by the quality for the value. Didn’t much like the breakfast though. Not enough hot items to select from. But they give you a discount when you check in that makes it about $10 and it’s fast for on the go travelers. Great service at the front desk. We had a little travel snafu and had to race to the airport. The staff made that happen for us! We would have missed our flight if it wasn’t for them. Way to go guys! Huseyin was especially helpful and kind. We will be back next year!
