The hotel fails to provide basic amenitie water bottles, towels, etc. Even when there was luggage trolley there was no bellhop service and were told we don't have staff for that. There were a few stains on the carpet.The staff is not welcoming we mentioned how the telephone in the room isn't working to which they gave a very cold response that yeah we will check tomorrow and they never bothered to check, ever. We were there for 4 nights yet they didn't understand the importance of the telephone working. The housekeeping staff would not take the used mugs unless specified. One of the rooms didn't have the lock handle for the toilet. Although that was fixed but a cold response was given the first time. The toilet doors had gap which made it very uncomfortable for anyone to use them and anyone could peep into it which is not very family friendly. There were little as well as big things that weren't taken care of, wouldn't recommend Courtyard Marriott (Inverness) ever to anyone. Can't believe that this branch comes under Marriott. The hotel was rated 4 stars but the service and the rooms didn't meet that standard. It was more of 2/3 star hotel. Will definitely complaint about this and get it inspected on the standards of the hotel.

The breakfast was lacking hot food. They have a set up for what appeared to be for eggs and meat but there was never any of it available. It would have been nice to have some protein for breakfast.

Conveniently located directly next to the airport it was about a 2 minute walk over to the terminal. Room was small but bright and very user friendly with sufficient space for all our bags. Breakfast is unfortunately not included but there were multiple options and service began very early. The onsite restaurant books up quickly so book early if planning to dine. Food was good and the staff were very nice and helpful. Beds were comfortable. Parking is easy and free if you are staying. They also had the option to leave your car there if traveling for a nominal fee. Although I usually prefer local accommodations, this was a great stay with a location that can’t be beat.
