The room was a Mountain View except you can see a parking lot and the train station was right next to our room so it stayed loud. The room was too hot and we had a very hard time sleeping. You can open the window but it’s almost all covered with a metal decoration so no air flow really gets in. Would not stay again. It is a nice hotel with great breakfast.

Clean hotel - good for short stays

The stay was nice, the hotel is really clean. I’d say it’s much better for short business trips or short stays overall. Not much to do in the hotel, would be better if they had amenities like gym, spa, pool etc. I think a little over priced considering there is just breakfast and room

I had a great stay at Essential by Dorint Interlaken. Near train station makes travel easy and modern clean room is a plus. Breakfast was good and friendly staff added to the experience. What makes it unique it is conveniently located near shops, supermarket and restaurants. Some rooms have limited views and bit too warm but overall it is worth staying. Would surely recommend.

Hotel was just next to Interlaken West station and it was so convenient for us to get around! There’s a shopping mall and supermarket across the road as well. Beautiful hotel and gorgeous rooms.
