You are one mile from the entrance to the Bad Lands National Park and the best designated trails. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was neat and clean. The facilities are a bit date and rustic, but you have to remember that you are at least an hour from any real town or city. A fun stay in a beautiful setting.

Wonderful hotel! We stayed here for 1 night while traveling to the Badlands. Proximity to the national park is incredible, the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and I’d highly recommend staying here! Very budget friendly and you definitely get a great deal :)

This was an awesome spot for exploring the Badlands. Everything was clean. The space was warm. The store on the property was great. And the location was perfect! Plan to stay more than one night.

It was a great place to stay & central for a trip to the Badlands NP. The only complaint was the office not opening until 9am & offering breakfast when most people travelling would be on the road well before that,

Efficient and close to park

Simple room was old, but main room had new floors and beds were comfortable. Bathroom small and worn, but functional. Overall great for the money and really close to the national park

Great place to stay in the Badlands

We loved this motel and Campground in Interior, SD, and recommend it as a comfortable and safe spot to stay while exploring the Badlands. We stayed in a motel room. It was just fine for the price. It was very clean and we were very comfortable. They are about to embark on a major remodel so I won't bother mentioning what needs to be updated. There are very few options for food in the tiny town so be prepared. We did eat at The Wagon Wheel. Very friendly local bar with freezer to fryer food and burgers. Cowboy Corner is a little convenience store with drip coffee anything you might need.

The location of this property is awesome. It is very close to the Badlands National Park. However, the room had no heat, the sink would not drain and we had no hot water in the sink, and there was no restaurant or bar on site, as claimed on Expedia. There was a store where you could purchase wrapped food items and microwave them. They said that you could bring a microwave back to your room. When we checked out, they said we could have gotten a heater for the room. Who knew? I guess we should have asked. But the lack of a restaurant and bar was false advertising.
