I went through an online service. When checking in, I had to pay a $100.00 deposit for incidentals, the only incidental was a bottle of water, which I did not drink. If you are going to charge a $100 deposit, just be up-front and factual. I still have no idea why I had to pay deposit. Especially when the room was paid in full, before checking in.

It was a place to lay your head. That’s about it. Wood floors were dirty. The room next door was leaking water through my wall. No transition between wood and tile floors. You can take a toe off.
