This is NOT a casino hotel nor associated with the horseshoe!!! NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY!! First off, the place is full of long term drug tenants, EXTREMELY dirty, ran down, smells like cigarette smoke, doors kicked in, no air conditioning, broken bath and sink, stained up beds and the list goes on for how TERRIBLE this place is. Unless you like meth-anies and the possibility of bed bugs I DO NOT recommend booking here!! Save your money and peace of mind, book elsewhere!

Convenient to highway

One night stay on route to North Carolina. Convenient location just off highway; very nice staff. Good complimentary breakfast- better than expected. Hotel property is dated and in need of an update, but all in all not a bad place to rest your tired head!

It was okay

This hotel is okay. We stayed here for one night to go to the casino. It needs update real bad. Our room had white patches on the wall where they are maybe trying to fix the walls but hadn’t painted yet. The furniture in the breakfast area is old and some of it doesn’t match. What I did love about this place was the lady at the front desk was nice and funny. I received text messages for a pre-check-in so you didn’t have to do it at the desk and then also for checkout. There are three hotels in that area and I would say if the others were sold out I would stay here again but if not I would stay at the Eco Lodge across the street.

Not worth the money paid

For the money charged, the room was absolutely not worth it. I liked the fact that it had 3 full beds, but that was the end of my likes. The toilet handle was broken. The fridge didn’t work properly, as well as it still had food in the freezer portion. The tv would turn on, but nothing further happened. The heat was off and it was below freezing upon arrival. When I turned it on, and set it at 65, it set off the smoke detector and caused an odor. The room was outdated, which was okay, but I paid to have a modern room. As advertised for breakfast, my girls wanted pancakes and hot chocolate, which there were none of either. And we ate at 7 am, so it wasn’t as if they ran out already.
