Overall, we had a great stay. My only complaint is the beds. They are quite old; in certain areas, you can feel the springs, and they make a lot of noise when you move. It seems like people have been jumping on these beds for a long time.

Great Stay
My husband and I were attending a wedding downtown and chose to stay at Hyatt Place. It was our first stay and we really enjoyed it. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfy, and we enjoyed the art work throughout the hotel as well.

I wasn’t sure what to expect visiting downtown Indianapolis for the first time. Coming from Minneapolis, the downtown area isn’t what I would call safe. So, my quick review…5/5 stars all around. The hotel, the staff, and the breakfast are top notch. Parking is very convenient. The downtown life is, or seemed to be, safe and fun. Walking alone downtown, around the hours of 8:00-10:30pm, and at no point did I feel unsafe. What I did notice is all the happy people, whether it be families, couples on dates, or friends out to sample the libations. Well done downtown Indianapolis!!! I look forward to returning for more of a vacation rather than a high school music competition.
