My only complaint is when we checked in the rep was not attentive! He obviously did not pay attention to our reservations because we were placed in a room with double beds and not the king bed that was requested and paid for when we reserved our room, he wasn’t too friendly as well. I don’t have a memorable experience when it comes to your staff except the nice black young man that changed our room at check in.

The AC units outside my windows were so noisy that earplugs not effective. The vibration from AC compressor was intense vibrating bed to,the point of tough night of interrupted sleep. You should give me a credit for another stay….

The staff was very, very cordial, professional, and fun! Really only two things would be considered negatives. Our room had a distinctly strange odor. We were told that it had been recently remodeled and that may account for it. (Also, we had to get a waste basket from the front desk. There was none in the room when we checked in.) The room itself was very nice. The other negative was the area of the city. I know there's nothing that could be done about that but it seemed very...industrial and somewhat blighted. Also, despite the 85 degree temperatures, the pool was closed. We booked our group specifically for a pool. Disappointing. That said, the staff was wonderful, personable and helpful. We stayed up late talking in the lobby both nights and it was very comfortable there! Despite those negatives, I would probably stay again, mostly due to the staff and the congenial atmosphere they create! Kudos to management on being excellent hosts!
