The property was lovely and the room was spotless. The checkin code worked well to get into my room. However, the room I was sold was not actually at the Idyllwild Inn but down the road at Strawberry Creek Inn. The address provided, which took me to Idyllwild Inn, was incorrect. I rolled in around midnight and spent an hour looking for the correct room before reaching someone who was able to direct me to the right place. If you’re going to book a room, I’d reach out to staff beforehand to verify which property you’re staying at.

Nice enough place but did a bait and switch on location, if your room says “off site” you’re not at the actual Idyllwild Inn, they put you half a mile away at the Strawberry Creek Inn, which is nice but is not downtown. Our room there was clean and comfortable but small with thin walls, finicky heat and shower.
