Shilo is a great hotel for one night in between getting to your destination. It’s not anything fancy or new but it’s comfortable and reasonably priced. Breakfast is probably one of the worst I’ve had but again just stayed for a night and it’s free so get something else along the way. Their restaurant is pretty good for dinner though.

We have stayed at this property off and on for 25 years. For an older motel it is excellent condition. It’s quiet, staff is friendly and with the location being right on the Snake River it’s got beautiful views. This is our go-to when we are in Idaho Falls

This property has known better days. Room & facilities not very clean, no food service, included breakfast was a joke. No juice first morning, powdered eggs, a blueberry muffin sheet cake had been cut into one inch squares. Only half bagels served--really!? Asked for shampoo & conditioner, was told they were out. Asked for an extra pillow but never got it. Restaurant closed, could not charge my drink to my room because I was informed the lounge & the hotel were fighting. Only consolation was the room was large.

This property is located on the river and the back of the property to the river is looks very clean and the grass is well manicured. The front of the property is not well taken care of, and all the windows haven't been cleaned. Difficult to see out the windows on the first floor because of the hard water stains on the windows. The rooms are very large, clean and the breakfast was good. Overall, the motel and the restaurant is old and in need of updating.

This property does not appear to have been upgraded for a long time. The breakfast that was included was very bad. The selection was limited and the food was not what I would feed my guests. It seems this property is on its last legs and I will never stay there again.

Avoid this hotel completely. Stayed for 2 nights. Cost 470$ 25$ a night for a cot! That would be fine if the hotel wasnt disgusting! Outdated. My blankets had holes in them. The pool has tiles missing and broken ceiling is moldy nasty brown and falling down. I tried to cancel my second night it was so bad and they wouldnt let me. Im extremely upset. 520$ for that hotel is sickening. Poorly lit parking lot dingy area avoid this hotel!

Property sits on the river walkway which is convenient. Building is aged and showing wear. It needs a major upgrade to keep it competitive. Price is very competitive leaning to the low side. Very quiet as not many guests.

There was mold on the bath tub,the windows were so dirty you could not see out, heater was noisy with what sounded like the fan moter going out, the parking area has large cracks and holes in the asphalt driveway into the hotel, weeds were ever where !

We stayed in room 248. There was no locking bar on the door, although the door locked fine. Our bathroom light and fan were both inoperable. Breakfast was great, especially since it was free. Stayed multiple times prior to this with no complaints
