Doors going to the outside dont lock so anyone can walk in at anytime. Half the hotel is under construction.

First thing I noticed, was that the picture on the website was nothing like what I walked in to. They didn’t have the big open lobby. It was basically a hallway and a guy in a little room with a computer. But I do have to say the staff was super nice The next thing, was all of the hair around and in the bathtub that was not cleaned out. There was actually stuff still left in the freezer in our room and clothes underneath the bed. The one shelf on the desk was so dusty that I didn’t want to touch it I will say the sheets and bedding were super clean, and that’s one of the most important things when I’m staying somewhere.
Property may have been worst for condition & cleanliness we have EVER stayed in.
Mold, mildew, old bedding & beds, building needs BIG TIME update. It was VERY unexpected for a Clarion Hotel.
I have stayed there for about 10 years.It never gets any better.My refrigerator freezer was frozen shut when I got there.I unplugged and about 5:30 the next morning the ice finally fell with a big bang.I plugged it back in and put sone tea in it.The refrig.froze it solid by that night.I spend my ehole stay alternating between the refrig. and my ice chest to keep things cold.There was only one ice machine and it was on the first floor.There are only two or three housekeepers to clean all the rooms.The first day after I had gotten there I had to find housekeeping so that I could get rid of all the towels I had to use to deal with the ice.I left the trash bag with the towels in it outside my door with a card (that had been used my the last person) requesting more towels and coffee since they only left one in the room when I checked in.They took the bag but no towels or coffee.I talked to management and got more coffee.They said the housekeeper didn't understand english very well so I checked the other side of the card for more towels and things. I checked in Sunday night and I got the towels,coffee and bed changed on Thursday after talking to management several times.They said the housekeeper for upstairs had been sick and that's why nothing was done for four days. The hotel had been closed for 12 years befire it was opened up again and yhe building is 60 years old.They said they fix one room and another one needs work on it.The place is clean and ok but needs work done.
Due to renovations they only had a take and eat selection. The first fay it had 3 yogurts, 6 pastries and 5 apple juices, the second day there was 2 apple juices. I asked and they said the truck did not make it for delivery. I asked, since there is a grocery store across the parking lot, why did they not go and do a local purchase. You would stick to the bathroom floor when you walked across in bare feet.

Disgusting Bathroom
The bathroom was absolutely disgusting if we hadn't checked in so late I would have asked for a different room. My wife was already asleep in the bed when I realized upon showering how absolutely disgusting the shower was with chew spit on the wall of it. Which also makes you second guess the cleanliness of everything else. The ice machine is broken. The maid walked around at 8:00 a.m. knocking on every single door the entire length of the hallway wanting to know if anyone wanted service. What an amazing wake up call that kept on giving for like 15 minutes because you could hear the whole way down the hallway. I don't know how anyone in the whole building could have been sleeping after she did this. The furniture in the room is very nice the bed was average. But one begins to question the cleanliness of the furniture and bed after seeing how disgusting the bathroom was. Unfortunately for me I booked through hotels.com and I'm never going to get any money back or a refund because you never get money back from hotels.com. The tub had no drain plug and a bar of soap that I had to dig out to get it to drain. Gee you think you would find the bar of soap in the drain when you actually cleaned the shower. No surprise it wasn't found because it wasn't clean.
