We were in town to attend my dad's funeral. I had reserved 3 rooms. One of the 3 rooms was supposed to be a suite with a fold-out couch to accommodate 2 small children. When we checked in, the Hampton staff said they did not have any of those rooms left, and gave us the standard 2-queen room instead. We paid extra for the other room, but they said they couldn't do anything about it since we went through a 3rd party. Can we get a refund for that room, or discount?

Like: receptionist was kind. Dislike: tap water did not taste good. $3 per small bottle of water in the little room fridge. Fitness center closed early. Breakfast and coffee were so-so. Not much oatmeal. For the price I paid for one person overnight, it was disappointing.
