Reception and restaurant staff were professional and efficient. Room and bathroom were spacious and clean. It was a treat to have hot (not tepid) water for the shower and bath. Unfortunately, some staff took their smoking breaks under the bedroom window, chatting loudly, which was disappointing and spoiled the quiet location.

Hidden gem 💎

6th time staying at princess marina and as usual had a fantastic short break ,love hove just a bus ride away from Brighton and the hustle and bustle then back to the lovely quietness of hove , The staff at princess marina were once again 1st class in every aspect , We can't wait to return in December

We loved the location, easy to walk into the shopping areas of Hove and also very close to the seafront. Breakfast was excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. Our only criticism is that it's a shame parking is allowed right in front of the hotel. For most of our stay there were one of two very large cars parked right in front of the entrance and windows, completely blocking our view of the sea from the breakfast room and the bar.

Staff were friendly and room was nice, everything was cleaned well and the breakfast and dinner they served was great. My only issue was the Price, but I was only there for the Brighton Marathon so it’s a minor complaint

Drinking early outside our room

Nightmare!! Staying for two nights and both nights were horrible! We were woken up by a group of men early morning around 5am. And that time, they were drinking beers at the front of the hotel which is just below our room on the first floor, I called the reception and asked him if he can speak to them and keep the noise down and he response was that they are night shift workers. (There is no excuses for that!) but we’re not even sure if he is actually spoke to them, as the noise level didn’t change. Very disappointing and we will never stay here again. And also as we paid extra for the sea view and this is what we get what a joke!

Lovely hotel in great location

Lovely hotel with friendly staff. It was great to have the availability of free parking, although this is on a first come first served basis. Our only issue was very noisy pipes during the night which made sleep quite difficult. The view from our room looked out to sea which was great. Plenty of places to eat and drink within a short walk.

Super two day stay.

It was our wedding anniversary and we were upgraded to a lovely spacious room with veranda. Very clean, breakfast options great. Coeliac/ gluten free catered for. Second visit, would use again as close to beach. Car parking too. Staff all very friendly and helpful.

Excellent stay at this welcoming hotel. Great breakfast, excellent location, friendly staff, with a nice walk into Brighton. Bus service to Brighton stops right outside the hotel.

There were some leaking so you could hear the water dripping on the ceiling when someone use the bathroom upstairs. Funny enough, someone started at 4am, then everyone woke up and went bathroom.
