When we pulled up to the hotel, it was blocked with yellow caution tape. It’s under construction, and the floor I stayed on had multiple issues. Some of is had flooring that was half under construction. My bathroom door couldn’t shut. Someone had a room door that didn’t have a bolt. The hotel smells terrible - between the strong cleaner that they spray everywhere to the humidity from the pool area. I originally booked and paid $359 but on the day of my booking I checked again and it was only $189. They refused to give me the lower rate. Since there were issues with my room, they ended up giving a discount. I would never stay here again.

We reserved a king suite with living area the living area was a single chair and a side table. The carpet was filthy. One spot of the floor there was a big dip felt like it could fall through. It was not a $250 room. It was more like a $60 Motel 6 room

Man opened our door with possible universal key

It’s awful! Don’t go here! Someone opened our door and if it wasn’t for the top lock they would have opened all the way! There was a man walking up and down the hall giving us looks as we decided to leave the hotel. He looked mean and mad. Black male. This place is rundown. It’s better to pay $300 in downtown than stay here! Don’t do it!

We were given a room on the 4th floor with a shower that only had luke warm water, a sink that didn’t drain, a terrible smell of mold / mildew that had us coughing the entire next day, and a nasty dirty pool that had so much chlorine we could only stay in the room for 5 minutes and green scum on the side of the pool that would come off on your hands. We had to demand to be given a different room on a different floor, as the person on duty talked about how the 4th floor had just been “remodeled” due to a roof leak (hence the mold / mildew). The second room wasn’t much better. The only plus is it is close to the Toyota Center, if you don’t mind being sick for the basketball game.
