The property was nice and welcoming. Close to attractions and a nice variety of chain and independent eatery’s to choose from. Drawbacks it was quite cold in Houston when we visited. The Heater in the room didn’t work. There was dark mold on the celing in the bathroom in a couple of different places. 😬

I thought the grounds and decor were nice. Staff was very friendly and professional. I didn't like the rooms, very small and very inconvenient to not have a microwave in the room. Mattress was not supportive, felt very used.

Nightmare surprise
If you want to be in a place where you are shocked, hurt, and given the runaround, i would suggest this place. Notable exception were the valets who did fine work.

Rooms need serious updating (bathroom in particular). This does not appear to be a 4 star hotel at all, it looks like a 3 star. Called guest services 5 times and did not get attended to. The man working in the restaurant had poor customer service skills, he was very unfriendly and rude.
