The room was unclean. Ice bucket was disgusting. Sheets weren't clean.

Very dated. The seal around the door was gone. Bugs or anything really. Could come into the room. Second night our air conditioner (very important in Houma) flooded our room. Maintenance was a no show to fix it. We had to move to another room in the middle of the night. Very loud guests.

Our stay was really nice. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Big Al’s seafood restaurant next door was amazing and had wonderful boiled crabs We took our boat to cocodrie ti go fishing and used this hotel as our base It’s about 35 minutes to the marina to put the boat in Overall I would recommend staying here It’s an old hotel but updated rooms and clean

THAT DARN DOG!
Dog barked half the night. No pets were supposed to be allowed yet the lady at the front desk was pet sitting. Did not get the dog til her shift was over. There were four of us in the room but could only get towels on the weekend for two. The other nights when I left a note and requested four sets I got them. Didn’t think I had to let her know each time there were four people in the room. Also in the morning the floor was so wet it was as if someone mopped it and didn’t get up the water. We made due with everything but that darn dog!
