They had a sprinkler flood in the attic the day before we got there. Some of our rooms had a musty smell that wasn't overpowering, but you could tell there was something in the air. It also looked like some of the first floor was under construction. The beds were very comfortable.

Okay for one night. Hotel was torn up for interior work.
Hotel was under construction, not a clean property, smelled like drywall dust, Room had moldy smell. Carpets were very dirty.

The website did not mention anything about the swimming pool being out of order. Very disappointing. There was hair on the bathroom floor and the toilet was not clean. The front desk staff were wonderful.
The front desk refused to help me find an alternative way to pay the 50$ front desk fee. I paid for the room on hotel.com didn’t know about the 50$fee fine print. I had no card for it so they would not refund my money also fine print. So I’m putting this out there. Have all the money you need when you get there. The kids at the desk will not help you in any way. No customer service skills.

The Refrigerator didn't work. Would have been nice to keep my water cold.
I asked late to have a room with hand rail beside the stool. None were available and there stools are very low. The room as well as lobby, breakfast area was very clean. Enjoyed O’Charley’s next door.
When I rated this facility as average I mean that it was neither terrible or excellent. The room that we stayed in had a wet floor due the air conditioner leaking, the bathtub had a very sloped bottom which made it feel difficult to stand in while taking a shower. Surprisingly the tub / shower did not have a grab bar for safety anywhere. The room also showed it's age from water stains on the ceiling and water damaged drywall that had not been repaired to missing grout on the tiles in the tub area that had been caulked (poorly) with silicone. On the plus side, we found the bed to be comfortable and breakfast was ready on time and plentiful. At this particular site (Hopkinsville, KY.) there are at least five facilities to stay at that are all located next to each other in walking distance. Due to the vast choices available, my next stay may not be La Quinta.
Property was fine, staff was rude at check-in. Front desk was on phone with a conversation going in ear piece and couldn’t care less i was there. Wanted to walk out before I saw the room.
