1st of all, let me mention Tara, the front desk, the face of the property, qite affable, knowledgeable about what we could expect, offered valuable suggestions. she is an asset. the hotel was clean, centrally located amongst the businesses downtown. definitely would recommend the stay.

This is a super cool place to stay in hood river, parking is $15/day but you can walk most of the town from this location. The place is old so it creaks and the train goes right by, but its a great place to stay

Hood River Hotel is our go-to stay. If you enjoy a charming, vintage (yet modernized) vibe this is your place. The staff are attentive, accommodating and just cool people. No need for a car for a shopping and dining experience as the hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of town. We only live an hour away and can easily pop in to town for the day (and often do), but when we have free time we book a stay because we have so much fun getting away in our favorite hotel and the price is so reasonable we can!

Fun historic hotel in downtown Hood River

Fun, quirky hotel! Very clean and darling historic touches. We enjoyed breakfast at the adjoining Swedish restaurant. We had a room with two queen beds, which was pretty tight for space, but was fine for us. Really good coffee in the lobby!
