Unfortunately, the experience did not meet acceptable standards, particularly concerning cleanliness and hygiene. There were both live and dead cockroaches in the room, which was extremely unsettling. Even more concerning, my child and I both woke up with insect bites. While I cannot confirm whether they were from bedbugs, the presence of pests in a guest room is unacceptable and raises serious health and safety concerns. This situation caused a great deal of discomfort and distress during our stay. I have uploaded some pictures of them here

Charming hotel with great staff

Lovely, smaller sized hotel in a very convenient location close to the beach, shops, restaurants and the best coffee in Waikiki (Kona Coffee Purveyors). Rooms are spacious and very clean, and staff are wonderful.

A very quaint old style Hawaiian hotel with conveniently located food and drinks right next to the pool. We are locals looking for a nice affordable overnight stay in Waikiki and this is the place.

Oasis Places

The property had a nice atmosphere, but parking was terrible. Either you have valet, which is $45 a night, and the was cheaper than most places. You park on the meter parking our find somewhere along Ala Wai, that's usually packed as well. Overall, service is answered promptly. My first room had a messed up bathroom knob, they switch me to a better room next to the poolside view. People are usually in and out here at night because of the bar services. Friday DJ is there.
