This property is very outdated, lobby and rooms are old and in need to deep cleaning and maintenance, the entire pool areas and Dukes beach area smells like sewage, it was too gross to sit near the pool area.. There was noise all day long from the building maintenance from hotel next to outrigger. This place rooms feels more like a motel. Wouldn’t stay here again and do not recommend.

Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Unfortunately there was constant construction during our stay. We moved rooms only to be placed next to very loud turbines running 24/7. This rendered our ocean view balcony unusable. We paid a premium price for a room we were unable to appreciate. If you have read this far, please do not book any odd numbered room. The even numbers will be much quieter, as long as the construction on the Surfrider side is complete. Hotel is definitely showing its age, and the glass sliding door does not block any noise, we listened to the cacophony of Dukes restaurant, double turbines, construction on both sides of the hotel, as well as normal street traffic in perpetuity. The bathroom has a sliding door which has a tendency to come off the tracks. This happened in both rooms. Bottom line, book a different hotel in central Waikiki, not ocean side.

Already reviewed this property but got another email to review again. (?) Awesome staff, small issue with bedbugs and VERY loud horrible band at the bar below us though we ended up on 14th floor...still kept us awake and prevented spending time on the balcony.

If location is a priority with the beach right outside your hotel, i would recommend this hotel. If you want a clean, nice,comfortable bed to sleep in.. dont stay here.
