The place is a bit old but well maintained, they provided us beach towels each time we requested. Love the location, lots of places are in walking distance (beach, restaurants, malls, buses, other Hawaiian attractions) from the hotel. My only complaint that it’s get very loud at night do to the location so earplugs if you want to get a good night sleep.

The exceptional staff was fantastic -- everyone had a smile and addressed any question asked. The property itself was so nicely located -- quiet but also very close to everything in Waikiki. I did not use the pool or hot tub but checked it out -- very small but would be great for little kids. Adults? Not so much but when the ocean is close by, who cares? Also, the rate was great considering how close it is to everything. Thumbs up!

Hotel Malia was great in every way other than the parking garage and price for parking was way too high nightly for being a guest and it was not stated until arrived as well as a daily amenities charge that I wasn’t aware of until arrival.. for someone that traveled on a tight budget it was just an un expected cost. Cleanliness and staff were amazing!

Hotel staff was lovely. I checked in early on Friday. Its a great location, close to shopping and the beach. My daughter, who.lives near, joined me. Would definitely stay there again.

3rd visit o Hawaii, this property is poor. Room is dark. Bedsheets smell Aircon is way too noisy and old. It is noisy by the road even on higher floor. Bathroom.door or the room does not looks upgraded, eventhough property advertised as renovated in 2023. Safe was not working. This is not a resort. They charge a resort fee.Nothing about this.property can classed it.under a resort. Parking garage lot is small, two ways traffic for ramp upto parking garage.

Property needs to be remodeled. Room has smelled from the old carpet and the bathroom is so small and smells like dirty water. I wouldn’t stay there again. I rather pay more to stay a different hotel.
