Ok - so its Waikiki, so there is no bad. The staff is EXCELLENT, the $5 daily credit for snacks and water and the beach towel services are nice, the refillable water stations are apreciated and very convenient and we got our leis thru the hotel lei making class. (Sheryl was wonderful) Overall we were very pleased. Things that would have put us over the top: - advertise the destination fee (we were surprised at the$200 fee) - fix the elevators or provide a place to sit on each floor while you wait. Literally waiting a consistent 10 minutes for an elevator is too much - cook the scrambled eggs longer - I don't know anyone who likes slimy scrambled eggs and maybe stock the plateware better.

We have stayed at other hotels that are more expensive and they didn’t treat us as well as This hotel did. This hotel greeted us with a goodie bag with a water bottle souvenir for each person. Refill stations were in the lobby and have to say this was a big hit for us! Also other hotels make you pay for rentals to the beach. This hotel made our stay pleasant always offering chairs , beach towels, boards or sand toys! And the breakfast was always clean aRea and enjoyable. Definitely felt comfortable staying here. The staff was always smiling, our cleaning service was also very nice, handing us extra towel as we walked into our room because we had kids. Only gave the area 4 stars because there were homeless people every time we walked out that seemed a little sketch and would give us weird looks. It just would make my kids feel uncomfortable.

The “resort fee” of $247.00 that the hotel said they have no control over but who gets the money then? Hotel was basic and ok. Pool is very small and overrun with kids. The parking for a hotel patron of $54-$55.00 is excessive. Staff was nice and friendly. Got the surprise of my life with that “resort fee” charge. I’m NOT wealthy or a millionaire
