Great Honolulu Hotel!

Great stay! Perfect location. Get a beach front room for some nice views. Offers free beach chair rentals, restaurant is quite good, and really easy walk to everything you’d want. Would definitely stay again

Great staff, mobility accommodating

The hotel staff are wonderful, everyone went out of their way to make this a pleasant visit. The hotel overall was shabby and not what I expect from Hilton properties. Old outdated furniture, chairs that sit very low, noise traveling between rooms, are some of concerns members of our party mentioned. We had a large family reunion group. It a difficult for older people to sit in lobby furniture and the chairs in the rooms. Those with rooms on the lower floors, 9th and below, had lots of street traffic noise. This was not a problem for people with rooms on the 28th and 29th floors. On a positive note, the hotel staff went out of their way to help with mobility concerns. They lowered the bed height, and had a shower chair placed in the room that had a an accessible tub shower combo. The cleaning staff followed our instructions for making the bed as we liked. The main entrance has a lift to get scooters and wheelchairs to the street level, which required staff to operate. This was mildly inconvenient, but staff were very quick to come.

This property was well appointed, our room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The walk to the beach was short. It would have been convenient to be closer to the nicer shopping but overall the location was good.

The bathroom had water dripping from the ceiling. Though it was service twice by a friendly tech it started up each day. One morning we found a roach in the bathroom. Lastly having a wall next to the elevators provided an inconvenience noise at night.

I liked staying at this Hilton property. The staff were helpful, friendly, and courteous. The two minor issues in my room were addressed very quickly. The room itself was comfortable and clean. I loved the balcony, the large flat-screen, and the modern bathroom. I also loved that it was close to the beach and the Zoo. My breakfast meals were great! I didn't love the fact that I was charged almost two nights price of my room stay for the "resort fees" at the end of my trip. I think that is a ripoff, but I understand that most hotels do it. You should be cognizant to factor that into your budget whether you book through Orbitz or someone else.

Besides the 55/per night valet, this has been the best property I’ve stayed at in Hilton. I just wish I didn’t get a room so low and had a nice view like my last one. But everything else besides that and the forced valet was nice!

Hotel was well maintained and staff during the stay was pleasant. My only disappointment- I received an email from the hotel stating that if there was anything the could do to make the stay more special to let them know. So I took up the offer. I shared with the hotel that I was proposing to my partner during the stag and asked if a they could do ANYTHING that would make it more special. I then received a text message from Dexter from the hotel concierge stating unfortunately “no.” LOL
