The Twin Fin’s location can not be beat! Walk across the street and you are on the beach! There are “resort fees” that cover 3 items a day from Beach Candy, like chairs, umbrellas, body boards and stand up paddle boards. They also rent surfboards and hold classes. There is a little market on the first floor for drinks, snacks & souvenirs. It was easy to get an Uber, but there are so many walkable options for eating and shopping that you won’t need one too often. The pool is on the 3rd floor, next to Tiki’s Bar & Grill. (Great mixed drinks) The room was small but comfortable. It had a fridge for drinks but no microwave. Good water pressure in the shower. The best part was the little balcony with a view of the ocean. It is not a quiet location, if street noise bothers you. The only real issue we had was the elevator situation. You have to put in your floor and scan your card BEFORE you get in the elevator. There are no floor buttons inside. There was sometimes a long wait for an elevator. If you take the escalator up to the 3rd floor, it can be a little faster to grab an elevator up there. The wait to get back down from your floor could take awhile. We had a lovely visit and would definitely recommend it to friends visiting Oahu.

Booked 2 rooms ..1609 the bathroom lock does not work and the iron did not work…and 1608 the front door has to be forcefully pushed in to fully close. Would have liked a microwave in both rooms the refrigerator was great but think a microwave should be available in each room.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. It’s had the name changed since then but the scenery and staff are excellent. The beds are comfortable. The housekeeping staff were so nice and helpful. There is a trolley stop right outside the hotel. There are several restaurants and shops within walking distance. The beach chairs and umbrellas are a must. We stayed mainly on the calm pond side of the beach which a lot of parents took advantage of.

Some changes since last owners. Major reason why we stayed here was because of their pool. This time around there were so many rules - no toys for kids - no pool noodle… etc. sad to say but I think this will be our last time staying here.
