This time was one of the worst visits I’ve had. Staff was very rude. Waited in line for awhile to check in then staff allowed others to cut in front of us. I paid for an ocean view, and the room they put is in wasn’t an ocean view, it was more of side view mainly of the street! I called the hotel many times to make a complaint couldn’t get through. The fish tank area was blocked off the whole trip. The hotel seemed very unkept, just not taken care of. I will not be staying here again. I am very disappointed

This is a beautiful, clean property located across the street from Waikiki, all hotels are across the street as the street is adjacent to the beach. Shopping and dining is great.

The two restaurants Morimoto and Momosan were amazing but room service options were horrible. Swell bar resto food wasn't great either. The lobby at this hotel is very nice so you'd expect the rooms to be in the same calibre however, they are small and not updated. Old showers with shower curtain instead of glass door. Carpet in the room looks old... why not use flowing instead of carpet ?? Old dresser was all chipped. It was nice to have a balcony. Supposedly I was eligible for "VIP amenities" although im not sure what those should have been since I was not offered late check out , was not even offered a water bottle when I checked in as I receive when I stay at the basic Hilton. The location is great since it's right across the beach and walking distance to everything. The ABC store is directly accessible from the hotel which is super convenient

Beautiful hotel, amenities and pool side was amazing. Wife and I enjoyed our stay. Beach was a few steps away. Friendly staff. Flushing the toilet was a bit louder then would like. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

We included breakfast for 7 days, they serve the same things every day. If I would known I would of skip it, everything is pretty expensive. So we had no choice but to eat the boring breakfast everyday.

Expedia erroneously listed the Alohilani as a 5 Star Resort. It is NOT. I would rate it a 3 1/2 Star, and that is exactly what the Concierge and another staff member said it was. We wanted a 5 Star experience in Honolulu, and instead got a shabby room, tiny bath, and an entire hotel, except for the nice pool area which we never used, which was like being in a Motel 6. We are extremely disappointed, emailed Expedia our first day, and to date have not received any response. We paid for a 5 Star, but got a 3.5 Star, so are NOT happy at all. Very deceptive.
