Chosen due to its proximity to the airport for a layover and a shuttle was provided. It was difficult getting picked up from the airport because you had to phone and we didn't have US phone access. The shuttle only ran once each hour to get back to the airport. The bed was comfortable but the room was tired and the airconditioner so loud we had to turn it off to sleep

The airport Hotel is like most airport hotels a little pricey for what you get mediocre rooms barely maintained. But unlike other airport hotels around the country this one charges $40 a night for parking and a resort fee. I returned my car a12 hrs early and walked to the hotel to avoid paying this high parking fee then come to find out that part of my $25 resort fee was as I expected an airport shuttle. Unfortunately unlike every other airport close hotel in America that shuttle starts up after the first morning flights. I asks if they offer an easier shuttle for those of us who fly out at time that the shuttle would not arrive in time for us to arrive in time to check in for our flights and was told no but they could call me a cab. I asked if they pay for the cab or return my amenity fee that I was getting no amenities for and was told no.I wound up walking to the airport in the morning as luckily it is only about a 15 min walk and I had no bags. This hotel works if you need a stay close to the airport and you fly out after 7am otherwise they will charge you for everything at high rates. I paid almost $200 to sleep here for 5 hrs and not be given any of the amenities I was charged for. Service was terrible. Room was below average and not maintained when showering the water would not drain from the tub at the rate of shower and that was not due to good water pressure. The AC unit was so loud it sounded like I had an airplane in the room. First bad review in years from me!

The freeway noise is terrible. The drawers were broken. The trash bin looked like it had clean liners- until i saw a small wad of hair in it. They say its 'free' shuttle from airport, but there are signs that the drivers appreciate a 1.00 tip - per bag. Then, when you read the 'ammenites fee' the shuttle is included in it. So, why advertise a free shuttle? Youre paying for it!

I had a pleasant stay at the Honolulu Airport Hotel, which is conveniently located just minutes from the airport. The best part is the airport shuttle service that makes it easy to get to and from my flight, especially since I was only in Hawaii for a short time. On the downside, I found the breakfast menu a bit repetitive, as there weren't many options to choose from. However, the overall cleanliness and tidiness of the hotel made for a comfortable experience.

Though it's not the most glamorous place, I had a nice stay here! I booked a room for a quick overnight layover in Honolulu and it ended up being a solid, no-fuss option for that purpose. I paid a bit extra for a "Day Use" (separate website) so I could check in at 10am (an extra $130), and the staff was kind enough to keep me in the same room once my evening reservation officially began at 4pm, which made the whole experience feel smooth and stress-free. The location couldn’t be more convenient- literally five minutes from the airport. I opted for an Uber (around $10) rather than the free shuttle, which only runs hourly and gets crowded with folks queuing up with piles of luggage well in advance. Definitely worth it for peace of mind! The property is a bit dated, but the staff was very accommodating; when I mentioned the mattress in my first room was uncomfortable, they quickly moved me to another one without issue. Housekeeping staff were especially friendly, always offering a warm hello in the hallways. The front desk was consistently busy (even at 5am), but the team stayed helpful and courteous throughout. Heads up: the on-site convenience store has some steep markups, and parking is over $40 a day- so depending on your plans, Ubering around (even to Waikiki) might be more economical than renting a car. All in all, it’s not a luxury experience, but for a short, practical stay close to the airport, it got the job done- and surprisingly quiet for how close it is to HNL.
