Location was good. I checked in at 4 but technically I was suppose to check in at 3. The room wasn’t ready. She told us it would be about 10 min. 10 min turned into 30 minutes. We finally settled in and I don’t know what they washed the bed sheets with but it was a lot of white material on the bed that end up on our clothes and floor. I spoke with the front desk and she went to get us a new fitted sheet and she came back with the same “white” material that looked like lint but wasn’t. It was all over her sweater and mine as well. She finally found one that wasn’t that “bad”.

The location was very convenient. The room & common areas were nice and comfortable. The hotel did not have a hottub though, which was not a problem but I would suggest to remove to the photo of the pool area that shows there is a hot tub.

The room was clean and comfortable. There was no dresser or closet space to hang stuff up, but not complaining. I had a great time. The breakfast was good and I was close to downtown Holland.

Hilton design flaws

To no fault of the location or staff, all of the issues were design flaws. Zero amenities in the room. Not even a closet. Very poorly designed and constructed. I like the idea of no carpet but it makes for a very loud stay. The floor did not feel clean but it was just such cheap flooring. Again, not the fault of the property, but definitely a brand issue. Will not choose Tru again.

Very clean and enjoyed the pool table in the lobby. Pool temperature was a bit cold. Rooms were a good size and clean and bright bathroom. Close to many restaurants and stores.

Very clean and very modern hotel with good accommodations. My only complaint is the plastic soap, shampoo, and lotion dispensers that require squeezing to get contents to flow out. These dispensers require two hands to operate and are not convenient.

The hotel has just opened and is clean and new, and is just two blocks off US 31, across the road from a Meijer supermarket, but in a good and fairly quiet area with woods to the south. The breakfast is pretty good, although one morning the breads were not stocked very well.

Tulip Time Festival

This hotel had just opened a week before our stay. It was a wonderful hotel with great staff. Our handicapped room worked well for us. We definitely recommend.
