Troubled Stay
The staff was outstanding and extremely helpful. We en countered several room issues and they helped us every time. Not many options for breakfast. After changing rooms the room we had was clean and comfortable. The place could use some maintenance so we wouldn’t have the issues we had to deal with. Again, the staff was truly outstanding.

Clean and comfortable rooms. Check in was quick and easy. The rooms were great, clean, with a fridge, and microwave. They have a heated indoor pool that was open til 11! We had a lot of fun. Breakfast was mostly carbs with no protein or fruit options. I would stay again if I’m in town, thank you.

Good place for the night
Good proximity to the Petrified forest which we were visiting Simple room in a fairly quite area with comfortable bed Being someone who can't walk well and doesn't like heights I wasn't thrilled that it was outside stone steps to the second floor, no elevator but the stairs were sturdy The only notable thing was a musty smell in the bathroom It looked clean though

I spent 9 days in Holbrook at HoJo. Staff was awesome. Nice, spacious room with fridge and microwave made making meals easier. Local restaurants were great. Didn't have a bad meal out. Look forward to our next stay.

This is a convenient place to crash as a last resort if you're passing through or seeing the Painted Desert/Petrified Forest NP, but nothing else. We chose this property because it had an indoor pool and most of the others available during our stay did not. The pool was the only positive part of our stay - it was warm, hot tub was hot, and the pool area seemed clean and moderately maintained. Room was run down, beds are incredibly uncomfortable, shower had no pressure and barely got warm, bathroom door didn't close all the way and our bathroom often had a faint sewage smell. Staff was unfriendly. "Breakfast" was minimal, coffee was terrible and full of grounds. Holbrook is a remote, small town so you cannot expect many amenities, but this was surprisingly lacking even so. Bring your own coffee because you cannot get a decent cup of coffee or print anything anywhere in town. I really don't know how this place had an 8 rating on here.
