The staff were absolutely wonderful - polite, professional, friendly, helpful and considerate. Thank you for the room upgrade, the early check-in and the late check-out. Great staff ! Room was huge and phenomenal. If we couldn’t get an onsite parking spot, we had free valet parking. Had drinks at the lively onsite bar. Close to waterfront and shopping dining. Note that if you elect to not have housekeeping, you’ll get a $10 AUD pp voucher to use in the bar.

"Well yes, I made this booking at the request of my husband, who was coming off the Overland Track a day earlier than expected. THANKS for being available! Reviews were great and so were the photos... I would have enjoyed taking advantage of this. BUT THEN he decided to try and catch the flight back to Adelaide today after I'd already booked the room. It was a long drive from Lake St Clair directly to the airport, so the two of them (him and old friend from Colorado) couldn't even take advantage of your beautiful hot shower. So now I will be picking them up at 10:30pm here in Adelaide, and driving them back to our house with all the windows down. Again, thanks so much for taking my reservation, and if you need to resell this room again tonight, I give you full permission. Cheers, Jill "

Comfortable anf spacious room. Staff were pleasant and helpful, and food was excellent. We were impressed by the inclusive employment policy in the restaurant. The only shortcoming was that the restaurant kitchen closed fairly early and we could not get a reservation when we rang from the sirport at 7.45pm, with an ETA of 8.30pm, even though dining was advertised as being open 'until late'.

I had 4 nights at the RACVHobart recently and found it to be very conveniently located for shopping and sightseeing. The room was clean, well maintained and spacious. The bathroom, likewise. The diningroom served excellent breakfast and dinner menus, and the adjacent bistro did a good line in drinks and light meals. I ordered roomservice on two nights and found the food and efficiency of service to be as good as in the restaurant. I had a hire car and found the hotel's undercover carpark easy to navigate. Staff were all pleasant, efficient and ready to supply the sort of random infirmation that a traveller requires. Across the road is a designated bus stop that also serves the excellent local tourist bus. I was so pleased i found the RACVHobart in Wotif and i will definitely stay there again when i am next in town.
