For the price the room was adequate we had booked the larger room with e beds but they made a mistake for the first night and had to stay in the single queen room 1 night pretty small. They did comp us that night which was nice of them and then stayed in bigger room which was nice and spacious and happy we got it....we did rebook this hotel for the end of our trip as well. No cooking facilities in the room has a small fridge and they provided a breakfast box with milk cereal and juice for the morning which was a nice perk. We did find a free barbeque at a nearby park (1 minute drive) and cooked up some burgers . It seems these barbeques are quite common around Tasmania.

The Claremont was an easy place to stay. We didn't utilise the hotel bistro or breakfast but the facilities looked good. The room was basic and small but was very clean and provided tea & coffee. The bed was comfortable and the room suited our needs for the one night stay.

Best kept secret in the northern suburbs

When running a damn brothel At least have the decency to warn other guests or to have them keep there noise down perhaps 2 weekend I’ve stayed at this hotel with the same nonsense Won’t stay again Refund would be appreciated surely the lovely paying customers coming from down the hall give you a cut that would help with my refund. SHOCKING

Dodgy place to stay. Some staff were good and tried to make it nice but some are the most unprofessional I’ve seen in my whole 49 years and never been treated so badly by 2 of the hotel cleaners, one who couldn’t help but share private, confidential and sensitive details about the hotels discrepancies! It’s mind blowing what I was told by one of them. Too many issues to mention here. Scapegoated, accused and mistreated. Used to not mind staying for the cheap as price however they need to employ different cleaners in my opinion especially as a job coach and employment consultant. It was and is alarming. All my 10/10 reviews under Nikki as solo traveller should be 1 star as it is not what it seems at all. You’ll see why it’s so cheap when you stay. You’ve been warned!
