Photos posted was misleading, it’s not a hotel, but an apartment complex. I thought it was an actual hotel where the person bought a room and rented out the room occasionally but it’s an actual apartment complex. The front of the apartment complex does not show the name listed of the “hotel”, you cannot get inside without a key card, no instruction on how you’re supposed to get in when booking. Apparently you’re supposed to call and the host will come out to get you. So make sure your service works especially for tourist!

A great stay again at Saigon Sirius. These apartments are a good alternative to stating in D1 hotels if you like more space. Easy short trip via grab and convenience stores and coffee shops on the ground floor. Communication and service is excellence. Thanks Nam and Ha.

I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Saigon Sirius. We were placed in the 2 bedroom apartment with 2 nights free, however, Nam was accomodating when we wanted to upgrade to this room for the rest of our stay. Nam was clear in communication and assisted us promptly to any enquiries. The view is incredible and provides a panoramic view of Saigon River. The hotel has 3 convenience stores underneath, which let us quickly grab snacks as well as other amenities at our convenience. I would definitely stay here again the next time I visit HCMC.

This is not a hotel or a condotel; it is a residential building with large signs posted that short term rentals are ILLEGAL. Which is shocking to walk up having already rented the room short-term and read. The apartments themselves are nice. But to access pool or fitness facilities you must text someone, wait for them to get back to you and coordinate for them to physically come to the pool or fitness room and let you in. Not bad facility, but very inconvenient.

Enjoyed staying here due to the convenience and also having the convenience stores at my doorstep. Booked a 3 bedroom apartment and it was pretty cozy. Also i had to check in late but they are pretty accommodating to my late check in request and was done without any issues. Did not experience any problems during my stay as well, and there was someone who i could contact at any time if i needed anything. Also mostly use grab here and it was near most places in district 1. Getting back to the apartment was also easy with cab. Enjoyed my stay here, and will consider coming back again.

The room we stayed in reeked of mould. My wife was experiencing skin irritation from dust mites from the bed we slept on. That was the only negative thing. Other then that staff was friendly, helpful and could speak good English.

Ok apartment in a good location
In general the stay was good, the location was okay, and the view was great. The apartment did not look much like the pictures, and was lacking some essential crockery that should be added for future bookers (for example we had only 1 mug for coffee in the morning). Furthermore, I would like to make future bookers aware that there are lots of posters around this residential flat complex (called rivergate residence) that state short term rentals in the building are ‘in breach of the law’ - we did not have any issues, and Nam was very prompt with receiving us and getting us through the reception and up to our room. However, we saw other tourists very confused by the situation - you will need to be met by someone outside who will have a key card to get you through the front entrance and up to your room (the residency building staff and security will not know you are coming). We did feel quite uncomfortable being somewhere we felt we were not supposed to be. Having said this, if that doesn’t bother you I would recommend to use Saigon Sirius with Nam rather than one of the many other business doing the same thing in the building.

The 7-11, GS25 and pharmacy are conveniently located downstairs. This property is pretty good overall but the sewer smell in the bathroom attached to master bedroom is overpowering at times, most likely it’s because the plumbing when it was built was not done correctly. We did not experience this in the building block B where we stayed at 2 weeks ago. We had to close the door and kept the fan in the bathroom running. Other than that, overall everything is great. Staff is responsive when we requested for towels and toilet paper and brought them to us within 10 minutes.
