Avoid This Hotel – Not Worth the 5-Star Rating

I stayed at Fusion Original Saigon Centre recently, and I was shocked by how poorly it lived up to its 5-star reputation. If you're considering this hotel, think twice—my experience was far from luxurious. 1. **Insects in the Room**: I found insects in my room, which was an incredibly unpleasant and unacceptable experience. While the hotel arranged pest control after I complained, this should never have happened in a high-end property. 2. **Faulty Amenities**: The iron provided by the hotel ruined my shirt beyond repair. When I brought this up to the staff, they were dismissive and refused to take responsibility or offer compensation. 3. **Terrible Customer Service**: The way the management handled my issues was completely unprofessional. I’ve stayed at many hotels, and this was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had. Even after following up, I received no meaningful resolution or apology. This hotel may look appealing with its central location and modern design, but don’t be fooled. The lack of cleanliness, poorly maintained amenities, and unresponsive service make it a terrible choice. As someone who travels often and is usually easygoing, I’ve never felt the need to write a negative review before. This experience, however, was so disappointing that I feel obligated to warn others. Save yours

Hotel access is inside a shopping mall, which seemed odd to me when booking. After reading a few reviews I realized that this was not an issue. Such easy access to the mall was actually a nice benefit to staying here. The Hotel itself is very nice, clean and the staff is friendly and attentive. Breakfast buffet was very good. The room service was very good. The laundry service was good. The maid service was excellent. The bellhop service was great! I would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.
