Excellent hotel in an excellent location. Our room was really very nice and all the amenities were fantastic. An excellent location in Hiroshima near the shopping district and very well-connected by public transport. I would definitely stay here again!

Stayed in triple sharing room. There is ample space for 3 medium luggages. Intergate is a typical above average japanese hotel. You will find in your room a mini fridge, good quality shampoo, conditioner and body wash, kettle and bottled drinking water. Outside the room, there are drink vending machines and ice dispenser at some floors. You also have access to free skincare in sachets form at the reception, no need to bring your own. The communal hot bath (not onsen) is not overly crowded although there are many guests at the time of our stay. Intergate goes the extra mile by providing free alcohol/drinks/sweets at certain times of the day and rice in soup supper. Their staff and service were great - they allowed my online purchases to be sent to the hotel before my arrival (small ones because we don't abuse their kindness). It is quite a walk from Hiroshima station so you will need a taxi if you have luggages. Fare is around 1100 yen one way. The street cars are just outside the hotel, making it easy to go to Atomic Bomb Dome and Miyajima. My only complaint is the lack of washing machines - only 2 for the entire building? And one broke down during our stay. I hope the jotel management would look into this.

Excellent one day stay. Good amenities. Loved the free coffee and tea time pastries. Room not huge but decent. Close to buses that takes you direct to Hiroshima station Easy walk to Peace Memorial Park. Ferry ride to Miyajima is a must.

Lovely place! Biggest rooms we had throughout our travels in Japan. I wish more amenities (tea, coffee) were in the room instead of a help-yourself situation in the lobby but that was a minor issue.

What a lovely hotel in a very convenient location for everything we wanted to do. The hotel was comfortable and had great amenities, like snacks and drinks at various times a day. We really enjoyed the onset and the 14th floor outdoor space. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay in Hiroshima!

Some good and some not so good

The quality and food choices of the breakfast buffet are not as good as other hotels. It took us so long to wait in line for food which is not so attractive anyway. However, the hotel lets their guests to stay at the cafe with free drinks the entire day. In addition, they serve free late night snack free. There is not enough laundry machines in the hotel but there is 24hr laundromat nearby.

Nice hotel! The beds were very comfortable and the facilities very clean. The room was fairly spacious. I enjoyed the public bath and the breakfast buffet was impressive. There are nice views from the top. On the downside, the staff could be either more polite or friendlier but that might just be normal in Hiroshima. Overall, I recommend this hotel. Plus, it was very affordable.

This hotel was a perfect base to explore Hiroshima. The room was really spacious and clean, the robes and slippers were great. Easily walkable to all the main sights. The breakfast terrace had great views and the breakfast was really varied with lots of Japanese and western options. We really liked this hotel and would stay again if we were travelling to the area. It was our honeymoon and the hotel left a gift in the room on arrival which was a really lovely touch.

Okay for 1-night

I would have changed it if given the chance. It's not too far from the Peace Memorial Museum but aside from that everything else is basic. Reception is at the top floor which was a bit of a hassle. Rooms are small in size and so is the bathroom. There's not enough space to put anything there. The staff are really great and accommodating but the building itself is outdated. I wouldn't come back here though.
