Leonardo hinckley-shame but gone down hill…
We have stayed here many times over the years and has become a family favourite of ours to have a quick getaway from home. However this was the most disappointed stay. Check in was quick and friendly like always. Room was spacious. We went to the pool/sauna to enjoy the facilities, whilst here my son cut his toe on the bottom of the pool. We reported it to the staff member who got us a plaster. She said she could see uneven and damaged tiles in the pool. The incident wasn’t recorded as there was a man at reception when we left the pool and although he gave us a plaster upon request he didn’t deem it necessary to take our details. Upon getting to our room I noticed that the hairdryer was missing so rang reception to request one, we never received it so my daughter and I left the hotel with wet hair as we were late for dinner. I would have also appreciated more pillows for the beds, there were no extra in the room and housekeeping were not answering. Also seeing we were in a large enough family room, two or more chairs at the table would have been appreciated. It just makes sense when travelling with kids who enjoy evening drinks and snacks in the room. Also for a room for four, why is there only ever two mugs available? In the past Iv always asked and collected more myself from the dining room. Also there were only 3 bath towels available? Never had so many issues in one stay, such a disappointment as this is one of our favourite places to stay.
