The hotel is beautiful and the room is comfortable and quiet. The parking lot was tricky to find space in, and not having an elevator makes second floor rooms a haul, but it's entirely worth it!

Property very centrally located. Close to most attractions including the train going to Keystone. Fun place to go. Had an awesome fire pit to sit around. Perfect when it got chilly in the evening.

The hotel rooms have been recently renovated. The room was fairly clean. The location to Mt Rushmore and Spearfish is convenient. Breakfast was hot and tasty. The pool and hot tub were less than adequate. Our kids were a bit disappointed. The pool was cloudy and green, not very welcoming for swimming. A light in the hot tub was unattached in the bottom of the tub and just kind of floating- that didn’t seem safe!

Fantastic location to town and Mt Rushmore

The hotel was older but kept up nicely. The staff were friendly. The rooms were roomy and clean. The hot tub was great but the pool looked like swamp water. We loved the outside deck. The fire pit was great. We even made s’mores! The location was wonderful to town and Mt. Rushmore

Perfect place to stay when seeing Mount Rushmore!

This is probably the nicest budget friendly hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Nestled in Hill City, 20-30 minutes away from all the big attractions. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and cozy. The beds were sooo comfortable! My husband gives the showers 10/10. He is a shower snob! The full breakfast was filling every morning. My kids loved the waffle makers with the extra toppings provided. There is a fire pit to sit around at night and make s’mores if you want. The staff offered carrots to field the wild donkeys in Custer state park. My kids loved the indoor pool. There aren’t enough good things I can say about this place. The little down town is about a two minute drive to cute coffee shops (stop by Elizabeth’s) The only thing to note is there is not an elevator for the second floor. We called the hotel before we arrived and they so kindly accommodated us with a first floor room. If we ever travel Back this way again we will definitely stay here!

Hotel was clean and quiet. Staff was friendly & we loved the outdoor area & firepit for relaxing in the evening after riding in the Black Hills. Parking with a vehicle and trailer was a little bit of a challenge, but having a gas station right next to the hotel was a convenience.

Incredibly lacking for $200 a night

Waited 10 mins in lobby trying to get checked in while other guests were trying to get their room switched due to no AC. My room had no functioning AC as well. Breakfast was limited in variety and once the food was gone it wasn’t refilled.

Staff was VERY FRIENDLY AND KIND. They were able to check us in a bit early which I appreciated so much. Room wise was good! It did get warm at night & there was no iron but these are things I can deal with. AC during the day worked great! Clean Rooms. I would stay here again !

Budget friendly and friendly staff. Amenities were great, location was good. My only complaint is that there was no elevator for the 2nd floor. It’s only 2 stories though so the steps weren’t that bad.
